Sweet!!! Now I can just have the Daycare send my kids across the street while I pick up a KEG!!!. Thank you Prior Lake for doing your part in helping the struggling family save gas by putting a Liquor store next to a Day Care. Now if you can just see your way to get rid of the office buildings right next door and zone a topless bar there, I am sure the Daycare will over flow with kids, that their loving dads can drop off, while partaking in a night of fun.

Excellent, thank you for the update. I know this guy is not adhering to his release conditions. It's known around the neighborhood that he and the woman he beat up are working together and they continue to see each other. I hope he is convicted and gets the 13 years - it sure will make our part of Prior Lake a nicer place to live. It finally happened to OJ maybe we can see a bit of that justice here.

So, when do we find out if this criminal was convicted for a third time for domestic abuse? I'd really like to know when this criminal will be removed from Prior Lake for his well deserved 13 years!?

Respectfully,
Dan Swanson
The way the school bus service was handled in Richfield in the "olden days" was the drivers ran their routes, and in between they worked in the schools as custodians. During the summer they ran routes also and worked in the parks or the bus garage. The system was efficient and the service was great for all the years at Richfield. Parents didn't have to drive their kids to school because their tax dollars were being used to protect their most cherished from harm. Somehow that has changed, and it needs to change back.

This is a tough disease to watch someone go through. My grandmother had dementia for the last few years of her life and it was absolutely heart breaking to see her not remember anything that was important to her in the last days of her life. That not only affected her, but also her loved ones.
I recently watched a movie called "The Savages" that brought a sad, but creative and introspective look at the disease and how it affects those who live with it.
I highly suggest renting the movie if you have recently gone through or are currently going through a loved one with dementia.

This behavior is why referendums fail (and deserve to.)
We have an out of touch board, who feels that the public is an inconvenience who disturbs their important work.
We are too stupid to understand their great plans and must just agree with them.

They do not want to interact or talk with the public, just talk down to them.

I guess profits are private

I guess profits are private and risks are public. $700 Billion and what are the conditions? Should CEOs of the companies getting "bailed out" give up their compensation so that they get paid equal to a public employee? Should the U.S. Government get stocks in return for the money so they can sell them when the stock price rises again? Currently, one person gets to decide where the money goes. And that person cannot be overridden nor any lawsuit be filed. No oversight. Hey...isn't that what got us into this mess in the first place??

That's a bit more complex,

That's a bit more complex, and a silly comparison to boot.

Yes, it does burn me that my tax dollars are paying for the dishonesty and bad judgement of somebody else, I hate bailouts and handouts, but, at the same time, not being a financial expert by any means, I have no way of knowing what the fallouts for everybody would be if we didn't bail them out, the cost could be much greater over the long haul due to the impact it could have on the market and the economy as a whole...so I guess it comes down to what is for the good of the whole...it costs my tax dollars to bail them out, but what would it do to my life overall if we didn't.

It's a silly comparison because if we don't save some stubborn/stupid person from a storm they were warned about, it has absolutely zero impact on anyone but them.

A co-worker pointed out that it may not be a mole, afterall. She suggested since my yard isn't torn up (yet) that it may have been a vole. (see vole info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vole).

I dislike all little rodents, either way (mole or vole). I love the line from "Sex and the City" when Carrie says that squirrels are just rats in cuter outfits.

I'm guessing that makes your blood boil...
