The pow wow will include dance contests, food, fireworks, games, giveaways and a flag raising. Grand entry is set for 7 p.m. Friday, 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for the entire weekend with a button purchase. Those ages 60 and up and 10 and under are admitted free. For more information, visit www.ccsmdc.org and look for “Wacipi ’08.”

We're in search of our next best “Trashformation” artist! The Recycled Art Contest is open to recycled artists ages 10 and older.
Entries will be displayed at 225 Water Street starting September 1st and the winning entries will be announced September 6th and cash prizes will be awarded for the top three finalists.
