Food fight: At a hunger-awareness event at Bridgewater Church, 14-year-old Austin Daniel of Prior Lake grabs a handful of flour to throw at his peers Wednesday (Sept. 17). The eve-ning included a chocolate Slip ‘n Slide, a food fight, com-plete with eggs, unservable food as well as mud and water balloons. The night concluded by the Savage Fire Depart-ment hosing off the youth at around 8:30 p.m. Over 300 people came to the event and filled two vans with food to be donated to local food shelves.
