Wilbert L. Neve

Wilbert Neve, 86, of Prior Lake, passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008 at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home.

Wilbert was born Dec. 16, 1921 in Walters, Minn. His parents were Albert and Alma (Heidemann) Neve. Wilbert married Ardene (Schneider) Neve on Jan 12, 1957 in LeSueur.

He is survived by devoted wife, Ardene; loving children, Charles (Joline) Neve of Farmington, Douglas A. (Sherri) Neve of Hanover, Katherine (Robert) Cunningham of Prior Lake; precious grandchildren, William and Douglas T. Neve, Thomas and Elizabeth Cunningham; brother, Richard (Beverly) Neve of Albert Lea; sisters, Linda Dahl of Albert Lea, Marjorie Lenz of Gibbon; many nieces and nephews. Wilbert was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Wilbert was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran, serving from 1942-1946 on the Island of Tinian in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Prior Lake V.F.W. and the Savage American Legion. He was also a member of the Prior Lake Lions Club.

Visitation was held on Monday, Nov. 24, from 4-7 p.m. at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home in Prior Lake, and also at the church one hour prior to the services.

Funeral service were Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church in Prior Lake with the Rev. Marggi Pleiss-Sippola presiding. Interment at Spring Lake Cemetery in Prior Lake. Pallbearers were Brian Neve, Jeffrey Neve, Larry Flugum, Lyle Flugum, Jr., David Flugum and Steven Henrickson.

Nancy Ann Lewandowski

Nancy Lewandowski, 54, of Shakopee, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008 at Westwood Health Care Center in St. Louis Park, Minn.

Nancy was born Dec. 6, 1953 in Watertown, Minn. to Walter Otto and LaVerne Mae (Laabs) Lemke. She married Bernard Lewandowski on Sept. 4, 1971 in Hopkins, Minn. She loved to garden and flowers were her passion. Nancy also loved cats and was never without one in her lap.

She will be loved and forever missed by her husband, Bernard; daughter, Eva Marie (Paul) Herzog of Rosemount; grandchildren, Corey and Noah; bothers and sisters, Shirley (Al) Velander of Bismarck, N.D., Sharon Lemke of Menifee, Calif., Diane Lemke of St. Paul, Roger Lemke of Edina, Gretchen (Randy) Schwerin of Watertown; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation is from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, with Celebration of Life service to follow at 11 a.m. at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Shakopee. Pallbearers include Ashley Schwerin, Matthew Schwerin, Bradley Roepke, Randy Schwerin, Edward Nordling Jr. and Al Golder. Nancy’s final resting place will be Valley Cemetery in Shakopee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be distributed in Nancy’s memory.
