Emily just wants to be with you, hear encouraging praise and feel the Emilycloseness of your petting and tummy rubs. She’s a little plump, so she would enjoy going on walks. She is spayed, crate- and house-trained and knows obedience. She also is good with kids and cats, but she wants to be the only dog in your life. She’s a friendly, 8-year-old black lab looking for love. Can you imagine that no one came to impound for quiet, calm Emily?

The above abandoned pet is being housed by the Carver-Scott Humane Society and is available for adoption. Pets have been checked by a vet, wormed, given updated shots, have a micro ID, checked for friendly dispositions and spayed if they are adults. The donation is $100-plus for a cat and $150 for a dog.
