The Prior Lake Fire Department responded to the following fire and medical calls from Aug. 10 to 16:
Sunday, Aug. 10
Firefighters were canceled to a fire alarm in the 16900 block of Willow Lane.
Monday, Aug. 11
Firefighters responded to a call for the smell of natural gas in the 4400 block of Coachman Lane. A contractor was working on a home when a nail gun penetrated a gas line. The gas was shut off upon the firefighters’ arrival.
Tuesday, Aug. 12
Firefighters responded to a three-car crash with minor injuries in the 5200 block of 160th Street. No one was transported.
Wednesday, Aug. 13
Firefighters responded to a garage fire in the 16300 block of Itasca Avenue. There was minor smoke damage in the house, as well as some damage to contents in the garage of the home. The cause of the fire was accidental and involved embers from trying to light a grill with paper.
Thursday, Aug. 14
Firefighters were canceled to a medical call in the 16000 block of Northwood Road.
Firefighters responded to a motorcycle vs. truck crash near Eagle Creek Avenue and 170th Street.
Friday, Aug. 15
Firefighters responded to a gas line that was cut in the 16400 block of Bandel Pass. CenterPoint Energy was on the scene.
Saturday, Aug. 16
Firefighters were canceled by police to a medical call for a person lying in the median near Highway 13 and Franklin Trail.
