Girls soccer: Lakers still looking for first win

The Prior Lake girls soccer team is still looking for its first win following a 4-0 road loss to Edina on Aug. 23 in a non-conference game.

The Lakers (0-1-1) headed into the game on the heels of a 3-3 tie with  fights for a loose ball.Kaiti Porter (14): fights for a loose ball.Burnsville.

The schedule does not get any easier for the Lakers. Up next is No. 5-ranked Bloomington Jefferson on the road at 4 p.m. The game will be played behind Normandale Community College, which is located near France Avenue and 98th Street.

The Lakers will play host to Minnetonka in a non-conference game on Aug. 28 at 7 p.m.

The Missota Conference season starts Sept. 2 at Northfield at 7 p.m. The Lakers will play host to Holy Angels on Sept. 4 at 5 p.m.
